MNP Ltd. was appointed as Receiver of A.B.C. Afterschoool Ltd. (“ABC”) by way of a Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta Order dated May 14, 2020. ABC is the owner of two parcels of real property located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta which previously housed child care operations.

On September 10, 2021 MNP Ltd. was appointed as Receiver of Aberdeen & District Charities Inc. under the terms of the security agreements granted to Affinity Credit Union. Aberdeen & District Charities Inc. owned and operated a recreational center in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan.

MNP Ltd. was appointed Receiver of the real property of the Ability Society of Alberta located at 1101 Grafton Ave, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan (the “Property”) by way of a Court of King’s Bench of Saskatchewan Order dated July 6, 2023. The Property previously operated as Chez Nous Care Home.

On November 4, 2021, on the application of Romspen Mortgage Limited Partnership and Romspen Investment Corporation, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta appointed MNP Ltd as Receiver of Lot 11 GP Ltd., Lot 11 Limited Partnership, Eco-Industrial Business Park Inc., Absolute Energy Resources Inc. and Absolute Environmental Waste Management Inc.

On February 27, 2017, Accurassay Laboratories Ltd. filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal ("NOI") pursuant to s.50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, and MNP Ltd. was appointed as the Proposal Trustee in the proceedings. Accurassay Laboratories Ltd. was deemed to have filed an assignment in bankruptcy on May 15, 2017 and MNP Ltd. was appointed as trustee of the bankrupt estate by the Official Receiver.

Acreage Investments Corp. filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal on March 28, 2017, and MNP has consented to act as Trustee under the proposal. On April 10, 2017, the debtor company was deemed bankrupt pursuant to the non-filing of a cash flow statement.

On January 24, 2024, Adara Properties Inc. operating as Officescape Canada filed an assignment in bankruptcy, which was accepted by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and became effective on January 25, 2024. MNP Ltd. was appointed as the Licensed Insolvency Trustee of the bankrupt estate subject to affirmation by the creditors at the First Meeting of Creditors (" FMOC ").
