Pierre Marchand, M.Sc., CPA, CMA, CIRP, LIT, is a Senior Vice-President in MNP’s Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring practice in Montreal. For the past twenty years, Pierre has been involved in financial services and corporate restructuring, providing clients with comprehensive strategies for every stage of a company’s reorganization.
Laureate of Entrepreneurship Institute at Sherbrooke University, Pierre brings an entrepreneurial spirit and understanding of business challenges to the table when meeting with clients to map out go-forward strategies. His services include due diligence review, precise company diagnostics and, restructuring plans which include corrections and restructuring advice to management and statutory restructuring if required. Helping clients address and solve company issues such as sales, operation and finance is a source of pride for Pierre, who excels at project management and analysis.
Pierre was designated a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in 1998. He earned a Masters of Administration degree and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Sherbrooke. He obtained the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) in 2011. Pierre is a proud supporter of sports in his community and has volunteered as a hockey coach with the Association du Hockey Mineur de Varennes since 2007.
