Daniel is a member of MNP’s Corporate and Consumer Insolvency Services team in Winnipeg. Straightforward, practical, and down-to-earth, he is an empathetic and creative problem solver who helps individuals, families, and businesses in financial distress find solutions to their unique situation and rebuild. His services include consumer proposals, bankruptcies, receiverships, and informal restructuring.
Daniel works with companies in a variety of industries, as well as with lenders on viability assessments, asset preservation, and realization.
He began his accounting career in 2007 and has been helping clients with debt restructuring solutions since 2010.
Daniel graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (BCommH). He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA), and is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT) and Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP), qualifying for both in 2014.
Daniel is a vice-president of the Manitoba Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (MAIRP) and is on the board of directors of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP). He is also a member of the CAIRP Continuing Education Committee. He speaks on insolvency and restructuring issues, sharing his knowledge with business and professional groups in the Winnipeg area.
