Genesis Terrace Retirement Home Inc. Genesis Comfort Care Inc.

By Court Order dated October 2, 2025, MNP was appointed receiver of Genesis Comfort Care Inc. (“GCC”) and Genesis Terrace Retirement Home Inc. (“GTRH”). GCC provides in-home Personal Support Worker care to seniors Southwest Ontario. GTRH owns and operates a retirement home at 1360 Maryhill Road, Maryhill, Ontario.

The appointing Court Order empowers the Receiver to, among other things, monitor the business and carry out a sale process of the assets. The Court Order does not empower the Receiver to take possession of same. The Receiver is therefore not in possession or control of either business.
