On August 31, 2022 Clydesdale Capital Group Inc. (“Clydesdale”) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal pursuant to Section 50.4(1) of Part III, Division I of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada) (the “BIA”) and MNP Ltd. was appointed as the proposal trustee. Clydesdale failed to file a Proposal within the 30 days required under Section 50.4(8) of the BIA and no extension to the stay period was granted by the Court. As such, on September 30, 2022 Clydesdale was deemed bankrupt and MNP was appointed Licensed Insolvency Trustee.
