Cavallo Winery Ltd., (“Cavallo”) is a winery located in Surrey, British Columbia. Cavallo produces wines using grapes from select vineyards in California, including some of the most world-renowned vineyards in Napa Valley.
Cavallo was established in 2014 and operates a winery and retail tasting room and in Surrey, British Columbia. Cavallo currently has a catalogue of 15 various wines which it distributes through the retail tasting room and wine club.
Cavallo relied on outside financing to fund operations and expansion and was unable to service existing debt and raise additional funding to allow it to continue to operate.
On October 7, 2022 The Bowra Group Inc. was appointed the Receiver of Cavallo Winery Ltd. (the Receiver”) pursuant to an Order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia (the “Receivership Order”).
On November 2, 2022 the Supreme Court of British Columbia made an Order approving a Sales and Solicitation Procedure (the “SSP Order”) for the sale of Cavallo’s assets (the “Sales Process”).

The Receiver is currently conducting the Sales Process for the asset’s of Cavallo pursuant to the SSP Order.

The bid deadline for qualified bidders is 4:00 PM December 16, 2022.
