On June 24, 2016, MNP Ltd. was appointed Receiver of all of the assets, undertakings and properties of 101186065 Saskatchewan Ltd. o/a Snow White Inn pursuant to a Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan Order. Snow White Inn operated two motels in Langham and Lanigan. The business ceased to operate on June 24, 2016, when the Receiver took possession. The motels were new constructions in 2012. The Langham motel is in close proximity to Saskatoon, providing accommodations to suit visitors to Saskatoon for events and conventions. The Langham property has a small self-contained restaurant, which is subject to a third party lease. Lanigan is on the #16 Yellowhead highway and the motel is well suited for accommodations for travelers and also has opportunity to provide longer term accommodations for the nearby potash mine workers. MNP will be seeking offers for an en bloc as sale of the property.
