When Will I Be Considered Discharged From My Debts

2014-06-09

You will be considered free or discharged from your debts once you have completed the entire process. Depending on the length of your bankruptcy, 9, 21, 24 or 36 months – as a bankrupt you have certain obligations: keep the Trustee informed of your financial and personal situation throughout the process, attend 2 counselling sessions, attend a meeting of creditors (if required), cooperate with the Trustee, make your monthly payments to the trustee, etc. Once this is completed, you will be discharged or released from your debts.
