Dealing With Creditor Harassment Without Bankruptcy Protection

2009-07-23

Within BC, there is a non-profit agency (BC Consumer Protection Authority) that has a mandate to deliver consumer protection. This includes enforcing proper collection processes by your creditors. We suggest that you consult with a licenced trustee to determine if filing bankruptcy or making a proposal to your creditors is a viable option to deal with your debt.
