Can I File A Consumer Proposal

2011-08-23

A consumer proposal can be filed by anyone owing creditors less than $250,000 (excluding the mortgage(s) on their principal residence) and if the debtor is insolvent, in other words, is unable to pay their debts as they generally come due. That fact that no payments have been missed;does not preclude the filing a consumer proposal. Please contact a local MNP office to arrange a no cost, no obligation consultation where we will review your income, expenses, assets and debts and assist you in filing a viable consumer proposal.
