Throughout the interview, Zaki discussed the significant amount of consumer debt across Canada, with Alberta having the highest average at approximately $27,000 in consumer debt. He also addresses how increased interest rates will affect Canadians and offered some tips to help Canadians create budgets that promote financial health.
