John Athanasiou, CPA CMA, is a Vice President with MNP’s Consumer Insolvency practice in the Hamilton & Niagara area. John works with individuals, helping them understand their options and delivering strategies that meet expectations and align with their life goals.
A Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT), John has been involved with a wide variety of insolvency proceedings. Born and raised in the Hamilton and Niagara area, John obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree at McMaster University in 1996, then went on to become a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in 1999. In 2007, he earned the (CIRP) designation and was licensed to act as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.
