Doug is a member of MNP’s Insolvency and Corporate Recovery group in Vancouver. Doug, who has practiced exclusively in business restructuring since 2001, helps clients with business turnarounds and reviews, insolvency consulting, and company management. He conducts insolvency-related engagements, including the sale of intellectual property and hardware, financial assessments and detailed operational performance analysis to assess a company’s overall viability and determine any business inefficiencies. Doug works closely with organizations in a variety of industries, including technology, energy and mining; resorts and leisure; property development; manufacturing, oil and gas, and retail.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of British Columbia. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2001, a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT, 2007), and Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP, 2007).
