Sheri L. Aberback, CIRP, LIT, CFE, is a Senior Vice President at MNP's Insolvency and Corporate Recovery group based in Montreal. Sheri has been in the restructuring industry since 1993 and is known for leading both formal and informal insolvency and turnaround engagements for troubled companies in a variety of industries, such as real estate and construction, manufacturing, retail and wholesale, financial services, transportation, apparel, aerospace, and professionals.
Sheri's extensive experience has made her a trusted advisor in various corporate insolvency engagements, including bankruptcies, proposals, court-appointed receiverships, and Chapter 15 proceedings. She also specializes in business review and monitoring engagements for companies facing financial or operational challenges.
Sheri is very involved in the professional development of the younger professionals on her team, as a coach and mentor. She is a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). She sits on the Board of the Conseil des Syndics Autorisés en Insolvabilité du Québec (CSAIQ) and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP), contributing to the advancement of the profession throughout the country.
