I'm happy to say that my perception of bankruptcy and especially MNP has changed from one of fear to fearlessness.

Hello, my name is Robert Charney and wanted to let you know about my experience with MNP staff, more importantly Helen Dowell. Before coming to MNP and declaring bankruptcy I was physically, emotionally and physiologically bankrupt. I was stressed so much prior to meeting with Helen Dowell about all the horror stories I had heard and was being told. Not specifically about MNP or Helen Dowell just about bankruptcy in general. From the first time I contacted MNP on the phone and spoke to other staff and from when I met Helen Dowell it was professional etc but more importantly empathetic and help alleviate my fears I had of her and MNP and bankruptcy in general. Though our contact was limited, every time there was contact I was fearful. I'm happy to say that my perception of bankruptcy and especially MNP has changed from one of fear to fearlessness. To the point that I can honestly share with others that my bankruptcy was positive and recommend they use your services. Recently I did a presentation for the United Way and Family Services and no matter what I spoke about whether hurdles I've overcome or hurdles to come, I expressed the process and gratitude I have for MNP and the role it's played in helping me get healthier. My bankruptcy is over and completed except for the tax reassessment which takes time and I'm not worried about it. Stresses around finances have diminished greatly as I still have more to learn.
