Albertans Have The Highest Consumer Debt In The Nation

Canada’s debt ratio is at the highest debt income ration we’ve ever had. For every dollar we currently make, we are spending approximately $1.65 on credit. For this reason, consumer insolvency is on the rise across the country, which is no surprise to MNP’s Trustee Donna Carson, who is answering more calls for help from Calgarians trying to manage their debt given that the province of Alberta is experiencing the highest consumer debt levels in the country.
