Karl is a member of MNP’s Consumer Insolvency group in Saskatoon. With more than three decades of experience, Karl helps companies develop effective strategies to recover their financial well-being, make the best decisions possible, and move forward with a positive resolution to pressing challenges.
Before joining MNP, Karl was the president and owner of a well-established Saskatoon-based firm that was an administrator of insolvency, financial restructuring, and business liquidations and also handled creditor-debtor relations. The firm’s primary focus was the administration of personal and business bankruptcies, proposals, and receivership files.
Prior to that, Karl was an Official Receiver and analyst with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy for more than a decade. He also worked for the Canada Revenue Agency for nine years, investigating and enforcing individual, corporation, payroll, and insolvency matters.
Karl is an insolvency practitioner, Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT 2004), receiver, and liquidator. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) and has served on the association’s national board of directors.
