For many years I worked as a consultant and my finances were in control.  The company I worked for made an assignment in bankruptcy, and with changes in the economy combined with a drop in oil prices, it became difficult to obtain new contracts.  As a result, it was increasingly more difficult to manage the monthly debt payments.  I met with Vicky at MNP, and I filed a consumer proposal.  She was very helpful and professional.
